The Deacon Ministry (Acts 6:1-6) supports the Pastor and assist in the spiritual ministering of the congregation. The Deacon is an Ordained Officer of the Church and is responsible for assisting with the Ordinances of the Church; Baptism, The Lords Supper and ministering to the needs of the Widows of the Church, visiting the sick and shut-in, and attending to whatever the Pastor or Church needs are. Membership in this Ministry is by appointment by the Pastor and preordained by God.
DEACONESS MINISTRY
The Deaconess Ministry provides support for the Pastor and assist the Deacons in administering the Ordinances and minister to the women of the congregation. Membership to this ministry is by recommendation of the Deaconess and appointed by the Pastor.
